The first V for Vendetta movie was released back in 200, and depicts things supossedly  based in the UK.

V for Vendetta is a 2006 film depicting violent acts by a masked freedom-fighter and it was based on the 1988 DC Vertigo Comics series of the same name. The film, is set in a future where a dictatorship regime has taken control of the UK. The movie centres on "V", who is a masked freedom-fighter and anarchist that is trying to ignite a revolution via terrorist acts. This main "V" character in the original story and this movie is a man.  The design of this costume makes use of that character to make it possible for a female to impersonate "V", which is rather intersting, and probably very useful for wearing it for Halloween, and other themed parties.
 
Please read these important notes before buying:
 
1.  This licensed costume is an economical version of far more costly ones.  It is designed for not many repeated wearings, and when you are putting them on you must do it in a rather careful and gentle manner.
 
2.  Most of the problems with these economical V for Vendetta costumes are in relation to the gloves,  which are not of the best quality in general.  Especially in the 'X-Small' size they are made for very skinny teens,  and you may need help when putting them on.  We have added a note with an 'L' or an 'R' indicating which one is better for each of your hands.   
 3.  These costume sets are heavier than usual, and because of the hats they need to be sent in a box, which makes the total weight over 1 Kg, and the shipping cost for Standard Mail in Australia is as large as AU$20.50. We apologize for the high cost shipping of these costumes. Most costumes can be usually sent in bags, and in most cases, the cost of shipping is now only AU$10.60
 
4.  We have carefully checked the conditions of these costumes and we have concluded that they should be OK to be worn.
