Disney's Maleficent adult costume, a character who may have been the "Sleeping Beauty" Aurora's wicked Fairy Godmother. Maleficent had become the Mistress of all Evil, and thanks to that she used her evil powers to impose a curse on the innocent Princess Aurora and condemning her to sleep for 100 years.
This costume is of that Maleficent Witch from the very old tale of the Sleeping Beauty. The earliest known version of the tale is in 1330 to 1344 as part of a medieval romance written in French known as "Perceforest", where the Princess of Zeeland was called Zellandine. Another version a bit later was the Catalan poem "Frayre de Joy e Sor de Paser" about 1634. Then, this poem gave origin to another version in 1697. There was also a version collected and printed by the Brothers Grimm and mainly transmitted orally.
This is a Disney Licensed costume, that is quite good and appealing.
