TRON was a science fiction movie released in 1982 by Disney all around computer games and their future development. In this computer 3D (CGI) game there is already incredible technology for humans to be able to travel to the alien reality where the game took place, all taken as hacking at that time. Other video games and another movie centered also in TRON were released after the first film. The interesting thing is that some kind of Artificial Intelligence within the game, and known as the Master Control Program (MCP), had gained a higher level of intelligence and development, and had become sort of self aware, but also sort of evil, which is something that is now feared by many people as a possible outcome of advanced AGI in our very near future.
TRON is actually one of the secondary programs within the game with the initial function of making things safe and secure, even in regards to the MCP. TRON is then made by the humans to join them inside the game in the fight against the MCP. At the very happy end, TRON manages to 'kill' the MCP, and then things go back to normal, (whatever 'normal' may mean in that alien reality).
