FRAMED Original  Oil Painting by H. Burns,  "Rare Landscape Australia Outback".

PRE-OWNED art creation that  INCLUDES THE OLD FRAME.

This specific artwork may be one of the earliest creations of H.Burns. The signature is not as clear and the painting job is perhaps not as refined as in most of the paintings by this artist. Nonetheless, the actual style is indeed the same.

Who is or was H. Burns?

Unfortunately, reliable information about artist H. Burns, probably active around the 1950s and 1960s is not easy to find. Coincidentally, there was a British artist called Henry Burn, (1807-1884), who is still well known for his paintings about Australian bush, although mainly about his artistic representations of Melbourne's historical landscapes.  However, H.Burns is definitely not the same famous artist, and this new painter has a totally different painting style. Paintings signed by H.Burns are usually of Australian outback scenes, and his style is more modern and less accurate in regards to details. Nevertheless, his, or her, paintings do show a high degree of contrast between scenes in the paintings which are rather smudged and non-accurate in regards to details, which is something rather very typical of modern artists, not only painters, but also sculptors, and even musicians.

The other issue with paintings signed by H.Burns is that the signatures seem to vary, perhaps because the artist did not care much about that detail, or perhaps because there may be several painters trying to imitate the original style of the modern H.Burns.  Nonetheless, H. Burns' paintings have been sought after and sold in various regions, showcasing Australian landscapes and scenes from that era, and Yes! they are enjoyable.  The other piece of interesting information is that most of H.Burn's paintings are rather quite large, and only very few are small, such as this one.

H.Burn's work has been recognized in the art market, often featuring oil paintings capturing the essence of the Australian outback. However, as we have implied above, the exact identity and comprehensive portfolio belonging to this artist remain not so clear. The interesting aspect about H.Burns is that his artworks still keep on being valued by collectors and enthusiasts due to the depicted painter's experience of the 1950s Australian landscapes in his artworks.

The actual painting equivalent canvas is 25cm (9.84")  x 20.5cm (8"), and the framed painting size is 35.50cm (14") x  30.50cm (12").

The shipping weight of this 'framed' item is over 1 kg, however, in the shipping data, it only appears as 1 Kg to make shipping more economical for the lucky buyer.
