It could be expected that it was very unusual for American Indigenous females to be part of warriors Indians fighting enemies.  However, there were quite a number of known females, some of them fairly famous, who actually were active warriors.

This costume is perhaps not a typical example of the early indigenous female inhabitants of North America, because it shows sort of more modern characteristics, perhaps with mixed details taken from the 1800s American West.  In any case, this costume is practically a perfect one to personify in a beautiful way the image of American Indian female warriors.
