FRAMED, PRE-OWNED Signed Print of Tulips by J.Kiley
Notes about the FRAME:
The FRAME is actually very nice and actually increases considerably the perception of the beauty of this artwork. However, we must mention that the frame seems to be slightly damaged, especially on the rear side, for which we had assigned a very low increase in the price of this painting print when the Frame is included.
Who is painting artist J. Kiley?
Joseph Kiley, (born perhaps around 1923 to 1927 in the USA), was an artist known for diverse art prints, including pieces like "Tulips," "Sunflowers," and "Jars". Joseph had a twin brother called Thomas, (and his father may have had Thomas as his first name), who also used to produce similar artworks. Joseph Kiley's work encompasses various themes and styles, and his art is often available in various types of frames and sizes. On some occasions, his prints are signed by him usually at the right, bottom corner of the painting's prints.
Our efforts to find historical, accurate information about artist J. Kiley, or Joseph Kiley, unfortunately, were not rewarded. In other words, although many people sell J.Kiley's prints, no exact and reliable information about this artist is accessible.
The Carousel Museum of New England featured the Kiley Collection of Carousel art, curated by twin brothers Thomas and Joseph Kiley in 1997. However, specific details about Joseph Kiley's involvement or contributions to the collection are not so well documented in available sources.
The Kiley Collection at the Carousel Museum at that year showcased also typical art which is, or was, a usual part of the setups of attraction parks. This collection had also contributions by Joseph Kiley's twin brother Thomas Kiley. although we have not been able to find specific information about those contributions. In the case of Joseph Kiley, his art reflects a versatile range of themes, especially his deep appreciation for natural subjects like flowers and everyday objects like jars and other similar objects.
