Out of curiosity: What is a Geisha?
The word geisha means "art person", as in Japanese “gei” means art and “sha” means person. Geishas, who, not as in the old times, are now mainly females, have now an iconic appearance thanks to many details in their way of dressing and designing their hair and make up, and many other details that now have become traditional, although rare. In Particular, they use flowers, and very attractive textiles, which consequentially, Laura Lucci has tried to use in the design of this mask. Unfortunately, the number of Geishas left in Japan is not much greater than about a thousand, and they really can only be found in some main cities. If you ever visit Japan, you may want to interact with Geishas in many outstanding events, and, perhaps, you may even want to take this mask with you, just in case. You can find a lot of information about Geishas on the Internet.
