This costume is from the 'Secret Wishes' series, and has many elements to represent Al Capone's times. This is a sexy gangster lady costume.

This costume for the 1920's+ to 1930's times is an alternative to flapper costumes to represent those days, although in this case it "celebrates" some typical features of the bad side of society in those days of the Alcohol Prohibition in the USA, and then the World's Economic Recession.  One of the antiheroes of that time was Al Capone, also known as "Scarface", and also celebrated in those days as the King of the Gangsters, at least until 1931.

Alphonse Gabriel "Al" Capone was born in 1899 in New York and grew up in Brooklyn. He moved eventually to Chicago to head a well designed gangster organization.  Many people in the USA were against the Government's  decision of prohibiting the selling of alcoholic beverages. Interestingly enough, this led to many gangsters being considered the messengers of the people against the Government, including the actions of the police.

You can try to find out if Al Capone had lovers or not out of his marriage. Actually, Capone married  Mae Coughlin when he was only around 19 years old and she only about 18. Interestingly, Mae Capone finally died when she was around 99 years of age.  In any case,  if Al Capone had any lover, she may have looked like the figure in this costume's package.
